SCORE offers one-on-one, confidential business counseling at various locations throughout San Diego County, at a client’s place of business, and by email.

Office Counseling: Meet with an experienced SCORE adviser for a confidential, one-on-one counseling session at the Escondido Chamber office.

  • Field Counseling: SCORE counselors will also meet with you at your place of business for an in-depth assessment of your needs. Additional counseling sessions are always free of charge.
  • Online Counseling: Search our national database for a SCORE online counselor at www.sandiego.score.org.

The San Diego Chapter of SCORE also offers a variety of management training Workshops and other business programs. For a complete overview of workshops currently offered, visit SCORE’s website: www.score-sandiego.org

U.S. Small Business Administration

Created in 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) continues to help small business owners and entrepreneurs pursue the American dream. SBA is the only cabinet-level federal agency fully dedicated to small business and provides counseling, capital, and contracting expertise as the nation’s only go-to resource and voice for small businesses.

SBA works to ignite change and spark action so small businesses can confidently start, grow, expand, or recover.

For additional information about the SBA and local services, call (619) 557-7250.

San Diego & Imperial Small Business Development Center

The San Diego & Imperial Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network is primarily funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration via a cooperative agreement and the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development via grants. Southwestern Community College is the agreement and grant holder for the San Diego & Imperial SBDC Network and provides significant support as well.
